Linux: how to make friends with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi?

HP Pavillion DV-7 laptop is running Linux Mint 18. Can't get Edifier R1700BT Bluetooth speakers to work over BT while using Wi-Fi. The problem of the speakers is in constant lags, the sound shuts up, is lost, delayed, although the speakers are next to the laptop.
How to set them up in a human way?
