Linux driver?

In an interview test for a sysadmin job, I came across a very strange question:
What would you call "driver" in a Windows world, how would you call it on Linux?
Either I'm a shitty sysadmin, or they're very fat trolls. What is the answer? driver?

@giner

A driver is also called a driver in Linux, and is a kernel module.

Windows - driver;
NIX - kernel module

It is strange that they did not ask about the codec and folder.
