linux administrator certification

Good time ladies and gentlemen!

I had a question about certification as a linux administrator, googled it, read it, realized that there are three serious options: LPI, certificates from Red Hat and from Novel.

Actually, now you need to find out:
1) Which of these options has worthy preparatory courses and materials in Moscow?
2) What kind of certification can be passed in the future without leaving the territory of Russia?
3) What other courses/certificates on this topic should I pay attention to?

The goal is to gain new knowledge, the opportunity to look at the old ones from a different angle, and a piece of paper that will later please employers.

If you have more than 3 years of experience with GNU/Linux, then LPI will do little. How can I get a paper. You can prepare according to their own books. If LPI changes the level 3 exams as promised into a more generalized one (now LPIC-3 is narrowly specialized), then taking into account already 3 normal levels it will be much more attractive. In the meantime, imho, I don’t really see the point of going above the 2nd. (changes should happen already in the spring)
The Hatters seem to be doing well with the structure of exams and the complexity, but what stopped me was the vendor orientation. What I didn't really like was my extreme addiction to Debian. If the experience is biased towards Fedora, CentOS and RHEL, then yes, RHCE should be your target.

Excellent courses + practical exam - not stupid tests.

1. Hurry up. Until October 12th only. Yandex is recruiting for a free course.
A. although he looked into the profile, saw about 7 years of experience and doubted that you would pass by age.
2. All of the above.
3. The most difficult of all - RHCE. I would pay attention to him.

I would recommend certification from Novell, at least from Red Hat. With certification from Russia, it will be very difficult with the second one.
Certification preparation materials can be found at itexams.ru Novell
