Lightweight PHP editor with formatting and highlighting?

Good afternoon, I use NetBeans, it is rather heavy and not suitable for quick editing / viewing of single files ...
I am looking for a simple editor, the main criterion, syntax highlighting and code auto -formatting ... I did not find auto-formatting in notepad ++, and for some reason the highlighting is only set manually , does not automatically catch ...
tell me?

Vim formally fits. Plus, if you master it, you can use it with the same config via ssh.

Look at WeBuilder 2010 - it is convenient because, in addition to simple editing of files, it allows you to work with projects. there is FTP and edits not only php (syntax highlighting is meant). There is no monstrosity, everything is clear enough and no frills

Unfortunately, the project got up more than a year ago.
Latest version (unstable, but never had a problem):

The computer is your main tool, it feeds you. Feed him too.
$100 = 4Gb good RAM = fast Netbeans. Get into the habit of investing in things that pay off.
For a "quick fix" notepad++ on win and vim or gedit on linux is fine.
