Lightweight application on Android - on what?

Colleagues, in what environment can you build a lightweight application for Android?
In Android Studio, as a little practice shows - a few megabytes.
It comes across in Google Play'e software in a few kilobytes - how is it collected ?!
I hope I formulated the question clearly

And where do you find such practices?
I have an application of 300Kb out.
If you do not drag third-party packages into the project, with a lot of resources that are not clear in what situation they are used, then the application turns out to be compact.
