Let's fool around :) LINQ 2 Modbus. Complete nonsense or can something come of this?
Having nothing to do (well, of course, work is work - you can’t cancel it, but you also need something for yourself) began to think, but what else doesn’t exist - I mean in the software world -, and it would be if not useful (you must admit, you don’t always need to write for good), then at least it’s cool to implement. Since my activity is connected with process control systems, my fantasy is "limited" by the industry. And so I thought of facilitating access to data from different devices through a new C # chip - a bun called "LINQ".
LINQ 2 Modbus - It would be great to access device data (some devices store the archive in registers) via LINQ. In general, this is nonsense, you might think ... but what if LINQ 2 DEVICE, where we abstract from the protocol (naturally, we take into account only well-known protocols) and simply and elegantly get archives, say, from a heat meter?
Thoughts? Ideas? Even if it's trifling? Maybe everything is already there, but I just don’t know ...
I ask you just don’t take the question too seriously :)
Brad? No, yes, no?
