Legal aspects when working with IT companies, is everything so bad?
It is difficult to formulate a question, but still I will try,
I noticed that often IT-related companies (hosting, payment systems, etc.) require a scan of a passport as verification of individuals, and that’s all. Here the question arises, if someone takes a picture or scans my passport, will he be able to register accounts in any online services and use them? It follows from this that if somewhere he violates the rules for using these services, then it will be impossible for me to work with these companies?
And if you go deeper and ever create your own LLC and you need to sign contracts with these companies, and the full name of the general director has already been used and actions that violated the rules of these companies have been committed under them, then, accordingly, you can forget about cooperation.
Is everything as bad as I described, or is there any reasonable explanation for my fears?

If he violates the rules of the company, he will simply be blocked from his account.
You will not have any problems with working with the company's service by registering a new account, and if anything, you can always say that it was not you.
But if you find out about such a moment, you can easily take away someone else's account by showing your passport and saying that you are the owner.
There is nothing wrong, they ask for a scan mainly in order to restore the stolen account/domain if something happens.
