Learning Ruby. What do you recommend?
Good afternoon.
I decided to start learning web programming. I decided to start with ruby, took a course on code academia, a couple of books and tryruby. I liked it very much, now the question is what to do next? Maybe there are some resources where you can take tasks or some other practical courses? The best of course an option would be to get free training to ruby - guru) My baggage is 4 years in physics and mathematics, superficial knowledge of ruby, php, css and html + patience, perseverance and a great desire to program :)

if you have basic knowledge of Ruby, then it makes sense to practice:
www.rubeque.com
rubykoans.com
projecteuler.net/problems
to deal with github
small tasks are available at:
www.theodinproject.com
tutorials.jumpstartlab.com
a good free video course with tasks:
https://rubyoffrails.com/
https://www.coursera.org/course/webapplications (great course with a certificate, part 2 starts in September)
and revisit great books:
The Well-Grounded Rubyist (2014)
Confident Ruby : 32 Patterns for Joyful Coding
The Rails 4 Way (3rd Edition) Everyday Rails Testing
with
RSpec
iwanttolearnruby.com
and of course practice, practice and more practice.
set yourself a challenge and solve it.
for example, my training project was the creation of an e-mail subscription service, and the second project was a photographer's blog.
codeschool.com and take the project to any of the freelance exchanges
