Learn SQLite or go straight to learning ROOM?

Hello. I study java and androyd and now the question arose in using the database. Is it worth learning SQLite or can I immediately move to ROOM?
Is it possible to master ROOM "from scratch", without knowledge of SQL?

SQLite is one of the simplest databases around. Of course, no one forbids you not to learn SQLite (SQL), just keep in mind that all sorts of database add-ons are a road to nowhere. If you want to study Android development and then get a job, and you will be asked the question - "Do you have experience with the database" - you will answer that you have experience with the add-on - they will just send you nah ...!
