Learn AngularJS without knowing basic JS?

Do you think it is possible to learn Angular without basic knowledge of JS?

I think that it will be a huge stupidity, to spend 3 4 days reading learn.javascript.ru is not difficult, but there will be a fundamental understanding of many things. The js language is very different from others and much that is simple in it is not always obvious at first glance.

There are jQuery monkeys, why shouldn't there be Angular monkeys?
Blind a small application can and will succeed.
Angular2 is generally written in TypeScript, so you don't need to know Javascript either :)

ps Although it depends on what you need. If you stretch the layout and the js code will be written by someone else ... then in theory it is possible. But it's like poking around blindly.

It is possible to study it. But it won't make much sense. And any non-trivial task will confuse you.
