Lazy load when opening popup - how to trigger an event?

The site works lazy-load from https://github.com/verlok/vanilla-lazyload , but it only works on scroll. I have images in a popup form that only opens when a button is clicked. The form is assigned a display block. However, the scrolling does not occur and the pictures are not loaded (and then loaded only when scrolling ..), how can I solve the problem?
