Laravel as the main framework. Is not it too early?

I recently wrote one project on Laravel, in principle, I liked it. It really looks very elegant compared to other frameworks. Confuses his "youth" and the pace of development - in each new version they break something and do it in a new way, there is no backward compatibility in principle. I tried to use the IDE instead of the usual text editor - the facade support was disappointing (yes, of course, there is a Helper generator, but this is a crutch). In general, a lot of small fly in the ointment spoiling a barrel of honey.
How justified is it to study it in depth in order to use it as the main framework for small / medium / large projects? Maybe you should pay attention to some other framework, more mature (Yii, Zend?)? I would like it to contain enough components to focus on writing business logic, and not inventing crutches.

Well, the developers make various paid buns for him. The popularity is growing. I think it can be used as the main laravel has a future. And the frame is frankly not as complicated as Symfony, for example, or Zend. So definitely YES, laravel is quite suitable as the main framework for small/medium projects.
Regarding the IDE - PHPStorm already supports Blade. I think they will deal with the facades in the near future)

The whole point of Laravel is that it is built from packages from other frameworks.
Graceful Frankenstein. You can already go. :)

I'm not a super guru myself, but smart people suggested yii+netbeans. in principle, it is not badly integrated, sometimes it can freeze on weak computers. Now I actively use all this - no problems, only convenience. I recommend to everyone.
