Laptop shutting down when booting OS?
I tried a lot of methods, I did not find a solution.
I will describe the problem.
LIVE CD ubuntu, dos, windows 7 - works stably without frills, does not heat up.
Stress tests - cpu, video runs fine.
When trying to boot from the HDD, after a couple of messages from Debian (something about fsck: no such derictory /dev/sdaX), the laptop is cut down, while the power indicator goes out and lights up again. (going on the defensive? correct me if I'm wrong) The same story when trying to install a Linux-based OS (Runtu, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian) - I tried everything.
Well, I think since the hard drive means we’ll beat it to victory (fortunately, the laptop is used as a media player and reader, it’s not a pity). Once before the victory, then it's time to start Victoria, oh yes, a separate hello to the guys from InsydeFlash, who spit out a semblance of a BIOS with two configurations into my HP G62-A60ER - the fn + fX enable / disable and boot order buttons. In general, Victoria does not see my HDD from under DOS, we load Win7 Recovery Live CD, we look at SMART - trouble. A bunch of dead sectors, In short, Reallocated sector: 186, Reported UNC error: 1, G-Senros: 1, Reallocated event: 198, Current pending sectors: 200 are from the VAL table. Although Vika says that health = GOOD.
The next question is, is it possible to fix this somehow, and I'm wondering why the power supply goes into protection when trying to boot from the HDD. Maybe bridges? I don't know, not a hardware expert.
Thank you!
4:41 am, day 3, my struggle with the HDD.
PS: Due to my curiosity, if the HDD is still a Trooper one, I will disassemble it and make coasters for coffee.
P.S2: Tell me, is there a life for a laptop without a hard drive, otherwise there’s not much money for a new one now.
Thank you!
Glory to coffee!

is there a hospital? connect the hard drive from the laptop to the system unit and check it on MHDD. there it will show you if there are broken sectors.
if there. then something like this www.itspec.org/sector.php will have less space. but it will work at least) was there a
live CD on a hard or flash drive?
