Laptop from Aliexpress. Is there any reason?
Hello.
Need a lightweight laptop up to 13 inches for travel and light tasks (browser, office, some pycharm) under Ubuntu.
I'm thinking of ordering something like chuwi or jumper with celeron and 6 GB of RAM from Ali.
Has anyone come across them? How in work and autonomy? What about quality?
And, most importantly, does it even make sense? Or is it better not to cheat?

look at the flea market with hands in your area.
On Ali, the worst thing is a refund. If you want to return the entire cost of the laptop, you will have to return it at your own expense, because. half a working laptop is unlikely to suit you ... it's another 1-2 months to wait.
As for the quality - how lucky, not to say that it’s straight shit, but some are better than ours (Russia?), But breakdowns are frequent. Recently the board I ordered came with a non-working network adapter module. In return, they offered either a penny for the price of the module itself (it still needs to be soldered) or return the laptop to the seller at their own expense ...
