Lamer question about changing to winter time in Ubuntu. How?
This weekend there was a traditional seasonal coven with time zones and Kyiv moved from the +3 zone to the +2 zone. But the Server ignored this event. I tried to use the dpkg-reconfigure tzdata command and received in response:
Current default time zone: 'Europe/Kiev'
Local time is now: Tue Oct 30 13:27:10 FET 2012.
Universal Time is now: Tue Oct 30 10:27: 10 UTC 2012.
which is incorrect since we actually have 12:27:10.
I know about the data command , but something tells me that after rebooting the server, followed by a check with the hardware clock and overlaying the time zone, the system clock will again start to advance by an hour.
How to solve this problem correctly?

Try to upgrade
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Because, for example, I have:
Current default time zone: 'Europe/Kiev'
Local time is now: Tue Oct 30 13:10:59 EET 2012.
Universal Time is now: Tue Oct 30 11:10:59 UTC 2012.
