KSS. Knyle style sheets use it?

Knyle style sheets - it's worth creating your own library of patterns, or kss is no longer relevant. kss - is there a replacement? tell me more.

Opinion of a backender working with the front insofar as:
Use preprocessors (sass/scss/less...) and BEM. Now, it's kind of the standard.

Judging by the repository , the thing was not bad. About eight years ago.
