Kindle 3: Read DJVU and PDF

Kindle 3, to put it mildly, is not designed for reading popular Russian book formats - DJVU and PDF. Dear Khabrovchane owners of the device, please share your own solutions to the problem. Stable firmware, the most adequate converter to native formats, etc.

DJVU is just a picture, sometimes with a searchable text index. PDF in some cases is also a set of pictures. There will always be problems with such files and no firmware / converter will help to read normally on a device of this size. Since you always need to display the whole or a piece of the image. No font changes, text alignment, etc. there is no question here.

Recently, the need to convert *.djvu has disappeared.
I installed the duokan firmware, which allows you to comfortably (on such a small screen, of course, not all technical literature will look good) read both pdf and djvu (though in some books sometimes pictures may not be displayed, but I think Chinese programmers will fix this soon ).
You have to read in landscape mode of course. As for stability, I don’t know for sure, but they say that there are conflicts due to hacks, I didn’t install them myself, so everything is fine with me.

Of the converters, I can advise Caliber .
Convenient, quite fast, supports many formats

why is it not sharpened for pdf? I read well. I usually just expand to landscape orientation and everything is ok. and djvu, yes, you need to convert
