Keytools and Heroku. How to add keystore to jvm on Heroku?

What is the correct way to point the keystore to Heroku?

I did it as in the article, but the effect is not visible. My heroku telegram bot sends http requests to a site for which a certificate was added to the local jvm using keytools. Without a certificate,
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException is thrown: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Am I specifying the arguments incorrectly?
