Keyboard not working in Ubuntu server 12.04.1. What to do?

After installing Ubuntu server 12.04.1 the keyboard does not work. During the installation, everything was fine, but after installation, when entering a login, not a single key reacts. What to do?

I understand that the keyboard is USB and it looks like there are some problems with the firewood for the controller. Try a PS/2 keyboard.
