Keyboard for a programmer, which one to choose?

The question has already sounded more than once in the vastness of the Internet and the toaster, but I’ll ask anyway.
Keyboard requirements:

  • Slim design
  • Keyboard backlight

I choose between two models:
Razer DeathStalker - it looks impressive and of high quality, the arrangement of the keys suits, the backlight and the slim design. But, if you think about it, is it necessary to overpay so much money, if in fact the main work is a set of code. For gamers, that's another matter.
Defender Oscar SM-660L PRO - in fact, as people write, this is an analogue of the same dead stalker raiser, but at a price it looks more profitable and it looks a little different, in my case it doesn’t matter to me what to print on an expensive clave or on a cheap one, lizhba The buttons were not erased and did not make a squeaky noise after a certain period of time.
I will be happy to consider other options for slim keyboards.
PS I work on Linux. The keyboard could be light or white, but this is not essential.
PPS I never took such expensive keyboards as a raiser, I always sat on budget, not expensive models.

Go to the nearest store where you can touch the keyboards, look, poke the buttons and take the one you like. The keyboard is the kind of thing that is better to buy based on your feelings, not on advice on the Internet. IMHO.

A4TECH KV-300H is an excellent USB keyboard, I have been using it for about six months.

If for that kind of money you already take it, then take the mechanics.
Here is an example https://www.amazon.de/Mechanische-Tastatur-Layout-...
An identical model without RGB costs almost 2 times cheaper.
But for programming such bells and whistles, although macros and binds, if used properly (if you get confused), can bring a decent profit))
for printing I advise Cherry blue switches. In general, as already said - such things must be really felt. For there are a lot of different switches, including our own developments from steel series, logitech, which differ from the standard cherry line. All of them give different returns, sounds, pressing density and, accordingly, sensations. So the store is different. Or at least understand and try different mechanics in the store, decide which switches you like the most, and then order on the Internet based on them.

I use Das Keyboard ( https://www.amazon.com/Das-Keyboard-Ultimate-Mecha... A very comfortable and high-quality mechanical keyboard. Not thin of course.
Many programmers still prefer all kinds of bent ergonomic keyboards (like these: https ://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Ergonomic-Keyboard...

I just asked myself such a question and found only one worthy clave in Mvideo - it was the Razer DeathStalker
It has been working for about half a year and everything is still fine - I simply cannot find a better option. There was such a keyboard in front of her and it broke in a month - the button fell off. Count 7 mowers thrown out.

is it necessary to overpay so much money, if in fact the main work is a set of code

precisely because the main work is typing code, the keyboard is very important.
to date, slim with backlight, and even on the mechanics of slim - for example, Logitech 815, 915, Havit KB390L, Corsair K70 Low Profile
