Keyboard android

Hello, I am eager to write my own keyboard for an android device, since the native one does not suit me. I am new to android programming. In fact, this will be the first serious matter. Have knowledge of php, js, java. I think I'll manage. I just don't know where to start, really. Tell me who can, in which direction to dig?

I would not advise you to start learning the framework from writing "your own keyboard". But as the nearest dream it can be considered.
It's best to start with the examples found in the SDK/samples folder. It's just better to build such a demo application, and then, in its image and likeness, try to blind your own. After the questions with the use of working with the framework disappear, then it will already be possible to try to blind your keyboard.

Dig towards SDK/Samples/SoftKeyboard
This is an example of a custom keyboard. Everything is written quite simply, you can easily change it to fit your needs.
