Keepalived - are there any solutions to work on a machine with a single network interface?

Good evening. I set up a configuration from Keepalived and NGINX, from two machines, but on each machine there is only one network interface (eth0). There are many manuals on the network according to which you can configure this configuration, but all of them, as far as I understand, assume the presence of a second network interface on each machine (eth1). Is it possible to set this up with only one network interface on each machine?
