JSON:API is suitable for a project of any complexity?

Good day.

We need a spec (or some kind of resource templating) for projects so that everyone is in the same style, but there is no time to cut my own, there are very non-standard projects, so I want to take JSON:API as a basis for the Laravel stack - here is this package and on the vue front or react or can you advise something else? (here I'm not talking about the stack, but the spec)
