JS copyright?
There is a software product for site traffic analytics (JS widget), which periodically calls pop-up windows, issues promotional offers, etc. The software product is provided by subscription, but it turned out that the JS code and CSS (it goes in the JS itself) were copied, redone (visually not much different, but different), the application itself was also redone and half of the functionality was missing, the information exchange algorithm was changed with the server-handler for the widget and is used on another site without the knowledge of the developer.
Is it possible to present something in court in such a case? What are the chances anyway? And what if the code is redone (the one that is copied) and even in a crooked form (it is not readable), then the expert will conclude that the code is unreadable?

You can present anything to anyone :) Another question is where you will be sent with your presentations :)
What are your documents, as the postman Pechkin said? Mustaches, paws and tail will not pierce. In court, you will need to prove that you are a developer and have been stolen from you. The opposite side will essno argue back. Expertise may be required. She is paid. Ready to go for expenses without a guarantee of results?
