Job Java Junior Developer?

Good day, gentlemen! I got into a not very pleasant situation with finding a job for the position of Java Junior Developer - this is the most starting level of java programmers, where the only requirement is knowledge of java core, no work experience. In August of that year, I decided to retrain as a java programmer. Decently studied Java Core, HTML, a little CSS, JavaScript, Jquery and the basics of Java EE. Wrote a demonstration project using all of the above and proceeded to send a resume. From everywhere came a refusal marked "experience required"! The situation is banal, but I don’t know what can be done here. It's a pity for the time and effort spent, what can you advise?
I will add a link to github: https://github.com/Zurus/Work-with-employee
Please scold me with the last words))

I wish you get settled soon. But, if everything is as you say - perhaps the problem is in the project (or rather in the code)? Ask an experienced friend to look at the code you wrote, perhaps there is a fragment that scares away employers.
As for the code, you are doing MVC, so rewrite the project under MyBatis/Hibernate and Backbone/AngularJS and I think your chances of getting hired will at least double, if not more and most importantly, you will gain a lot of experience at this stage. Because you will show that you know how to apply modern technologies.

So write that you have work experience. For example, the same demonstration project.

We already wrote that Junior is not a student who read a book.

Java Core and without work experience was 5+ years ago, now very few people will take a person who knows only core.
Read at least this article - dou.ua/lenta/articles/java-enterprise-guide
I would advise, as already mentioned above, to find an opensource project and get experience there, some kind of team development. In addition, continue to write your projects using modern technologies, popular Java frameworks, which are written about in vacancies.
It is very strange that no one sent you test tasks and you did not even get an interview.

The code is not enough that it is, that it is not.
