It's time to change profession (direction). Currently I am a graphic designer.
Why did you decide to change? Tired. For more than 4 years I have been doing what I don’t really have a soul for. Yes, I want to earn more. I came to the conclusion that this is more suitable as a hobby than the main occupation.
This is a conscious decision.
More to the point:
The choice fell on programming. Why? Everyone just loves information technology, I love "when it works".
I had experience in web development. There is an understanding and practice of what html, css are (you just need to refresh your knowledge) I also tried to learn js (I liked it), but somehow everything went away due to fatigue at my main job. In general, it is interesting to sit and understand, write, make logic and test (works or not).
You can immediately say "what to choose here, go to the front end." But I decided to look at other languages, assessed their prospects and opportunities, in my own way.
I liked Java (what can be implemented on it). But really, I don't know anything about her.

I can recommend mobile development. This area is developing by leaps and bounds.
There are not enough personnel (especially sensible ones) in all directions, and if you are stubborn (not to be confused with stoned), you easily "grab", and in principle understand what software development is, then they will take you somewhere as a junior.
