Java4Android to work on UpWork - any features?

Hello!
The question is - are there any peculiarities in "pumping" to work on UpWork as a Java4Android programmer, or is everything the same there?
I.e:

  • just learn Java well, then Java4Android,
  • related specialization technologies (Spring, GLES, patterns, MySQL, I don't know what else Java programmers learn),
  • fill out a portfolio on UpWork by passing tests and posting projects for a portfolio,
  • check in projects faster than Indians, fulfill orders, improve reputation, in order to achieve productivity in paying $50 per hour of work, or with a good reputation to find a permanent remote job for the same $50 per hour, with employment of 4 hours 5 days a week.

Thank you!

I don't know if there are any specifics, but in general your plan just looks bad. Here are a couple of tips:
- Don't invent terms.
- Don't make it your goal to work $50 an hour, 4 hours, 5 days a week.
- Quickly and right now you will not succeed.

you also need to understand that almost no one needs a remote programmer with an employment of 4 hours five days a week, it’s more likely that a programmer is needed who can work 60-80 hours a week

In short - the direction is suitable, but when working on yourself in training and then on projects for 8 hours a day and 5 days a week, you can reach such a rate in the next 4-5 years.
Only by themselves there are not many such orders. On UpWork, as a rule, they are much easier and cheaper.
You should not even try to compete with the Indians, they have their own special market segment.
Orders for android are often paid per project, but projects are monotonous and with high qualifications and certain equipment, you can get $ 100 per hour in terms of time.
