Java + WEB + OS X: what to develop on?

Hi everybody!
Interested in - who does development in Java under OS X? Particularly interested in the context of web services + SQL
Please tell me: toolkit (JDK / IDE), literature, possible problems (in the context of differences from Win / Lin platforms to run the IDE)
Thank you very much in advance!

If there is a choice of netbeans or eclipse, then choose eclipse, it will have more features. From myself I will advise as IntelliJ IDEA already wrote above - I haven’t seen anything better yet.

I do not develop for Java myself, but I will try to answer some of the questions.
IDE - try NetBeans, it was originally created for java coding, if I'm not mistaken.
From the “differences in Win / Lin platforms”, I recall such a problem under Linux (ubuntu) that by default java jdk is installed not from sun, but openJDK. And in order to do something in java, I had to remove the second one and put the first one. I remember struggling with this.
