Java convert html to *.doc (*.rtf)?

Cheerful time of day.
There was a question. It is necessary to save the finished html document in some kind of doc or rtf format. I didn't like the option of adding a header to the xHTML document. JODConverter either. I do not want to bind the user to opeoffice. Now I'm digging into Apache POI, but something here is not so obvious that it's already scary.
If someone has already encountered the same, share how you solved this problem.
