Isn't it time for a captcha?
Well, by God, they already got these idiotic captchas, which can only be correctly guessed from the tenth time. It's not clear what it's protecting against. If you add a pause, a hacker will launch a thousand instead of ten bots. And it will achieve exactly the same result.
Another thing is that captcha with distorted text is not the only way to distinguish a person from a bot. And most of these methods (including other captcha options) are incomparably friendlier than completely unreadable reCaptcha.
