Is Yevgeny Popov's video course on JavaScript up to date?

Good day. I just started learning JavaScript and found a good author's course by Evgeny Popov on this language. And everything would be fine, but the year is 2018, and the course was recorded in 2010. I want to ask more experienced users if there have been any significant changes in the language since 2010? Does it make sense to study these courses now, or are they already outdated?

Yes, JS has changed a lot in 8 years.
