Is Unity3d a good choice?

Guys, hello everyone! So I want to consult experienced people, so to speak, and I ask you to devote "of course, if you have the desire and time" a couple of minutes to this issue. Thank you all in advance! In general, I am 22 years old, my name is Alexey, I have been doing programming for a long time, in particular C # .NET, C ++. I did it just for myself, so to speak, for fun. Some experience and knowledge is present. Not so long ago, I began to look towards the GAME INDUSTRY. Yes, it is in this trend area. To be honest, often on the forums and here, all the more, I notice that EVERYONE climbs into this area! Apparently they want to row MONEY with a shovel =))
Actually I look towards two engines - competitors (UE4, Unity3D). I want to get used to the girl under the mob. devices (I prefer IOS). And for some reason, I got the impression that Unity wins on this platform. UE, as I understand it, is used only in AAA games, although Epic also talked about "Pleasant" assembly and development for mobile devices. Whether own correctly I noticed? Is my choice correct? Because I want to get serious, because I just love to play games at my leisure, I would also like to start doing something, you see something interesting I’ll make =)
PS Speaking of money =) Have you seen a lot of vacancies in general for a C#\Unity3D developer? Since I counted no more than 10 throughout Ukraine (period of 2 weeks). Is there freelance, even for small projects? Thanks again to everyone, and sorry for more letters =) I wanted to chat a little =)

Unity3D is definitely the right choice!
-a lot of materials in the store (Assets) -a large
community on the Internet -it is constantly being
improved in terms of optimization for the mob. platforms.
