Is typescript popular among ROR developers?
Good afternoon.
I am looking for a suitable tool for the pipeline development of sites. The choice fell on ROR because of the good code generation, excellent ecosystem and the availability of ready-made solutions for any occasion.
But there is one point. It uses coffeescript by default. Somehow typescript will be nicer to me. And I would like to use it. Found how to do it, but the question arose. Can this bunch go sideways to me because of its unpopularity? If all ROR developers use coffee, then I will probably set up those who later have to maintain my code. Or the customer may insist on the native bundle.
Tell me, please, who knows. Whether it is possible to use sheaf TS+ROR or there will be then because of it vycheukazannye problems?

The problem is not so much with TypeScript support in RoR, but with popularity among developers in general.
If you have something unbanal or just really want, then decide how you will look for developers who know TypeScript.
