Is there somewhere on the Internet a weather database for five to ten years of the past? 2000-2005 would be fine.
In general, do not care about the format, the main thing is to be able to understand the place, time. The more data (like wind/precipitation, the better). The minimum level of detail is months, but weeks are better.
An example of the data I'd like to get is www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=weather+maldives+april+2012 (but that's the ideal case).
Perhaps there is nothing in csv / sql / wtf, so at least some site tell me where this data can be obtained by processing html.
PS: There is www.weatherbase.com , but it's kind of full of holes.
