Is there any way in Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 to make it pop up a window prompting you to turn on the VPN when the system boots?

I have an OpenVPN connection configured on Ubuntu 20.04 to a remote server.

And I could configure it to auto-connect when the system boots, but the fact is that I don’t need a VPN in every session, and I periodically forget to turn it off before logging in to the resources I need.

In general, I would like to somehow make it so that when loading (rather even after loading everything that starts with the system) the system pops up a window asking me to connect to VPN (Yes-No) - this can be done somehow using a script or third-party programs?

Thank you.
