Is there any software for Linux that would take a screenshot of the selected area of the screen when you press any button on the keyboard?
I want to make a gif file of a set of code.
I know that you can simply record the selected area, then split it into frames and remove the excess. But I would like to speed up this process. We need frames only with new characters.
