Is there any future for the PHP Phalcon framework?

I tried Phalcon in action the other day, I really liked the speed of work and the MVC model (it looks like ZF is easy to change). But the question is, does this framework have future prospects, especially given the rise of HHVM? Are there projects written in Phalcon in production today?

Phalcon hasn't lost/loses its future with PHP 7. Rather, it will just get faster.
I don't think that PHP7 vs Phalcon has a place at all - it's more like PHP7 with Phalcon :)
HHVM is another question: it just doesn't ascend, but descends.

I'm already playing with php7.0.8-dev + Phalcon 2.1.x
At work, we are actively developing projects using Phalcon.
I think Phalcon is worth learning, although I prefer Laravel.
And I have a question, maybe someone knows, when switching from PHP5 to PHP7, by how much% did Phalcon work faster, and by how much% did Laravel work?
Well, it would be interesting to see a comparison of the speed of these frameworks on PHP version 5, and on PHP7.

HHVM is not needed after the release of PHP 7. And about the prospects it is better to ask the developers. What are their plans?
