Is there any documentation or standard about the math?

I came up with this question. Is there some kind of standard or documentation about mathematics? Where to get reliable information about mathematics, except for school and university textbooks?

1. Various reference books and encyclopedias. There are definitions for common functions.
Any function has a very clear definition, from which you can understand where it can be used and where not.
2. Any research - in scientific journals.
3. Textbooks

Is there any documentation or standard about the math?

No, and it cannot be. Any science is not a PL so that you can write a standard.

MisterVerstalschyk ,

For example, how do you know what to do with arc cosine and cosine and so on and so forth?

What is cosine and arc cosine is known from their definitions.
There are many mathematical reference books
A mathematical "standard" is the axioms of a certain mathematics. Everything else comes out of them.
And in order to know how and why you can apply the sine and arcsine in practice, you need to do mathematics for a long time. Or google ready-made examples. Basically it is to calculate area and volume in complex shapes.

There are standard about specific formulas, calculation algorithms, formats for recording mathematical expressions. Example
