Is there an I2P client in NodeJS?

Is there any other way to get into I2P other than through the official Java I2P client?
I am writing an application in NodeJS and wanted to try to set up an i2p tunnel on it, but all I found for Node is an i2p package that simply routes everything to the same client in Java :( Without Java, it turns out that there is no way to do it?

There are no implementations on node.js, but there is i2pd in C++.
