Is there an extension for executing arbitrary commands sent from the site to the user's PC?

Task: send a command to the user's browser that will be executed in the terminal (talking about windows) of the PC and the response will be returned back to the script.
Are there any extensions or other ways to solve such a problem?
Searching the Firefox Marketplace and the Chrome Web Store failed to find it.

The point here is exactly what kind of command you need. For example, all known tracert and ping can be done from a flash application.
