Can't find the right engine. We need a simple, no-frills engine for a portfolio site for a private photographer so that he can easily add albums and photos. On WordPress and Joomla, I would not want to tinker)

I made a portfolio website using Drupal. And, in general, in my opinion, there is no better engine for portfolio than wordpress.

Try InstantCMS v2.* after the update really flies even on a weak hosting. and all the tools are there. What is not necessary - it is easy to disable.
Even a junior schoolboy can manage it, active technical support on the forum and the Russian community.
