proxmox has ceph, that's hyperconvergence for you. And of course there are traditional NFS iSCSI, etc.

RedHat sells a full-fledged virtualization system management environment, making it just based on kvm.
What exactly from vsan do you need? iSCSI-based network storages can be implemented using istgt, simple and fast as boots, snapshots using lvm or better btrfs, by the way, kvm / qemu has snapshots themselves when using its qcow format ...
