Is there an analogue of the Select2 widget, but not DropDownList but ListBox?

I use the Select2 widget (created by kartik-v).

Very convenient and great search, but unfortunately the dropdown list format doesn't suit me. We need a ListBox with a search bar on top so that it updates dynamically, just like this Select2 widget. Something like this, at least:

Tell me, please, suitable analogues? Or is it possible to make select2 open all the time so that it looks like a listbox?

1. Choosing a flash player is bad. Flash is disabled by default in modern browsers, which means the player will not work.
2. It's easier to use an iframe, insert a link and everything works:
