Is there an analogue of RedMon - Redirection Port Monitor for Linux (Ubuntu)?
There is a well-known method of connecting printers over the network in the network when there are no drivers for new systems for this printer.
This method is most fully described here , on Habré this has also already been discussed .
The question is this implementation: connecting the printer to Ubuntu (there are drivers) and distributing via samba to Windows nodes with port forwarding and GhostScript, thus eliminating the need for a virtual machine.
GhostScript is multi-platform, but has not found an analogue of RedMon - Redirection Port Monitor.
Does anyone know of such an analogue or can suggest a replacement?
