Is there a working fallback for object-fit?

Good afternoon! There are such cards, the card from the server will arrive in the img tag. We need to beautifully stretch the image, as if using background-size: cover;

1. Is there a polyfill for object-fit (IE9, IE10), should I use it?
2. Are there other ways to do the same effect without this property?
