Is there a way to write a mobile application in a month or two?
The boss wants me to write a mobile application for two platforms (to be installed from the store), in two months. They also convince me that there are frameworks that can transfer a website to a mobile phone, despite the fact that it will not be an explicit webview and I can throw additional functionality on top (in the form of custom pages with the necessary functionality).
Please tell me, do such development methods really exist in nature? For me, two ways are known, it is native or cross-platform.

Well, technically, your bosses are right and a similar approach had some distribution about five years ago (I won’t give you the exact names, but I’m sure Google will help you with this instantly). - as far as I remember, there is a fairly wide selection of tools, and if you already have a site that you need to put on your phone, then the issue of developing an application can be put into a week for a person who is completely unfamiliar with either swift or android.
But I also note that today the ReactNative and Flatter frameworks are rapidly gaining popularity, which allow you to develop native applications for mobile phones of all platforms using jsx syntax, which is absolutely familiar to any modern web developer. If you have React experience, I highly recommend considering this approach.
If this application is "Hello world", then I do not see any special obstacles. :) If it's more complicated, then the development time is directly proportional to the complexity of the task, and inversely proportional to the number of development team members.
If you have at least some relevant experience, a head on your shoulders and the ability to read, then the task is real. And in principle, even in Java + Swift. True, all other cases for this time will have to be abandoned.
And I can’t help but share my opinion - since the implementation of the interface logic on the site and mobile phones is noticeably different, transferring the site to the application “on the forehead” is a bad idea and will most likely be anti-advertising for the company.
