Is there a way to select a version when downloading an app on Google Play?

Hello.
The problem is: the application had version 1. * - everything was convenient and stable. Then the developer released version 2.* - the interface may have become more convenient. but crashes constantly, no errors are written at the same time.
Is there a way to install version 1.* from Google Play on the device?

No, the old version will be installed only if the new one is not supported by the device.
Older versions can be downloaded somewhere on the Internet, on 4pda for example.
