Is there a way in which the program can see the site as well as I do?
Hello.
I've been thinking about one of my hobby projects and, frankly, I don't know where to start.
The idea is the following: I want my program/computer to look at the web page and see it just like me.
I don't want to see it as a set of tags, namely how I see it as a page.
I'll try to describe what I want to do, maybe it will lead you to a better answer.
Ideally, the program looks at the page like a human does and extracts the content using AI/machine learning techniques and parses the content using OCR (optical character recognition).
What I will do with this I will not say further, otherwise you will consider it crazy.
In general, here. Well, how is this possible? Any link or info would be helpful :)
Thank you very much in advance.

Let's get a little more specific. Don't be afraid, even if we consider you a madman - don't you care?
Did you by any chance write the script for episode 19 of this season of Bones? They got a 3D model of the bones, printed them on a 3D printer, and then scanned them with a 3D scanner to get a 3D model on a computer... You have the same idea. Why rasterize binary text in order to recognize it later? I love doing unnecessary things, but not as much!
