Is there a version of git that doesn't use the cli?

Hello!
Once again, I ran into a mini-project on shared hosting, where there is no way to use cli (i.e. you can’t connect via ssh and use all the benefits of civilization). And suddenly I thought, maybe someone has already ported git to php?
I mean not a wrapper over the usual git, but a full-fledged replacement. Well, as a complete .. git add/commit/push/pull/checkout/merge is enough.
If you have heard of this, please share the name of the project.

Now, development goes like this:
download via ftp to locale ("hands") > git > development > git > upload via ftp ("hands")
