There is a task to translate some interfaces into Russian. I would like the translation to more or less comply with generally accepted terminology standards (which are often not entirely logical and correct, but everyone has been familiar with since the first Russian versions of Windows, Office, etc.) and not “cut the eye” accustomed to Russian versions of software , but there is no Russian-language software to peep at hand. In what context is this word? and what function it performs. Here I think the special dictionary will not help. The context is also important, because the English-language name of the button / item may not fully correspond. I think it needs a very individual approach.
